    YOUR EXCLUSIVE DESERT COMPOUND


    Joshua View is a private desert compound set on a mountainside near Joshua Tree National Park with forever views consisting of 1 main house 2 guest houses and a gate house. 






    A HOLLYWOOD HISTORY 


    Once a part of a dude ranch and lodge visited by celebrity guests including Steve McQueen.  Suites feature memorabilia and photo’s from the swinging 50’s and 60’s when Jimmy Van Huesen occupied the house above and Frank Sinatra and Marilyn Monroe visited.  The music legacy continues today with notable musicians including Paul McCartney and Liza Minnelli visiting

    This was a great place to stay for our three day trip to JT National Park. We stayed here two nights and it had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The fire pit outside was easy to operate and was a fun evening activity. The property has lots of beautiful desert vegetation and it’s a very relaxing space to spend time in. There are framed photos on the wall of old time celebrity guests at the property. It’s a unique touch!

    10/10 would recommend! This is one of my favorite places that I’ve ever stayed at, and David  was an excellent host who went above and beyond to ensure my friend and I had a comfortable stay. The views are spectacular, and the guest studio is  even more cool  than it looks in the photos. LOVED the pool area and many amenities   We hope to return someday!

    My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Mark’s guesthouse. He had everything we needed including Keurig machine and K-cups, shampoo  and amenities by Cowshed, yoga mat, etc. the bed was very comfortable. loved how there was a vanity!   Very pristine immaculate home.  It is surrounded by beautiful views of the desert and was able to watch sunset from the outside deck. followed by a soak in the hot tub and a couple of laps in the pool.  The location is very close to the west entrance of Joshua Tree. Will definitely love to stay here again.

    What a great place. Mark is so generous to share his original artwork including 3 Warhol’s .  Staying in his guest house is like being inside a Hollywood story. His artwork, photography and books could keep you occupied for days.  The amenities are endless !  I loved the Cowshed products and placed my order online so they would be waiting for me when I get home.   David was very responsive to all our needs and our only regret is not inviting  Mark over for a drink so that we could hear his Hollywood stories. The place is newly renovated and very clean. We really enjoyed our stay.
